News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was won last night as one lucky ticket holder in Illinois matched the five main numbers and the Megaball to scoop the annuitised $393 million Megamillions Jackpot !
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 11th August 2017 were 23-33-53-56-58 with the number of the Megaball being 06. In Friday night’s draw one ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the annuitised $393 million jackpot was won .
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $15 million ( $9.4 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Tuesday 15th August 2017.
There was one first prize winner in Friday night’s Megamillions Draw but also three lucky ticket holders , one from California , one from Ohio and one from Washington won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Megamillions draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California won $550,731 with the second prize ticket holders from Ohio and Washington winning $1 million each.
Now that the Megamillions Jackpot has started off again the Lotto Central team recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions draw as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
