News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was won last night as one lucky ticket holder from Illinois scooped the annuitised $133 million ( $89.9 million in cash ) Megamillions Jackpot !!
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 16th September 2016 were 13-21-28-34-40 with the number of the Megaball being 15. In Friday night’s draw one single ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the $133 million jackpot was won .
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $15 million ( $10 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Tuesday 20th September 2016.
There was one first prize winner in Friday night’s Megamillions draw but also two lucky ticket holders , one from California and one from Virginia won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Megamillions draw .
The second prize ticket holder from California won $756,981 with the second prize ticket holder from Virginia winning $1 million.
