In the draw last night , Wednesday 25th March 2015 one ticket holder from New Jersey matched the main ball numbers of 07-19-23-50-54 and the Powerball of 14 thus the jackpot of $40 million ( $26.8 million in cash) was won – sounds like the guys at the Bada Bing had a good night !
Two ticket holders also won the second prize by matching the five main balls – the lucky winning second prize ticket holders came from Tennessee and Washington .The second prize ticket holder from Washington won $1 million with the second prize ticket holder from Tennessee scooping $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option which was 2 last night thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again an estimated $40 million ( $26.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 28th March 2015.
