News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $40 million ( $24.2 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 25th February 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-32-47-62-65 and the Powerball of 19 and thus the annuitised $40 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but one lucky ticket holder from Pennsylvania won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $1 million in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $53 million ( $32.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 1st March 2017.
