News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $371.1 million ( $233.5 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up to a significant three figure amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 12th August 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 20-24-26-35-49 and the Powerball of 19 and thus the annuitised $371.1 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize in Saturday night’s Powerball draw but five lucky ticket holders , two from California , one from Illinois , one from New York , and one from Texas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Illinois , New York and Texas won $1 million each with the second prize ticket holders from California winning $810,840 each.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $430 million ( $273.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 16th August 2017.
