News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $122 million ( $81.9 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 15th October 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 23-49-57-64-67 and the Powerball of 20 and thus the annuitised $122 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but one lucky ticket holder from Puerto Rico won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket ( thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million – Powerplay is always 2 at this level of prize money ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $136 million ( $90.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 19th October 2016.
