News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $246.8 million ( $165 million in cash ) was won as one lucky Powerball ticket holder from Georgia scooped Saturday night’s jackpot !!
In the draw last night , Saturday 17th September 2016 one ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 09-19-51-55-62 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the annuitised $246.8 million jackpot was won.
One ticket holder scooped the first prize last night but no ticket holders won the second prize with the next payout coming at the third prize level where twenty one ticket holders matched four main balls and the Powerball.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $40 million ( $26.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 21st September 2016.
