News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $142 million ( $98.1 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 27th August 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 04-32-48-49-63 and the Powerball of 20 and thus the $142 million jackpot was not won.
It was a quiet night in Powerballville last night as in last night’s Powerball draw no ticket holders won first or second prize with the first payout coming at the third prize level where twelve ticket holders matched four main balls and the Powerball ( two of whom had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket and doubled their prize money from $50,000 to $100,000!).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $154 million ( $107 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 31st August 2016.
