News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $52 million ( $36.5 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 6th August 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 20-33-36-47-52 and the Powerball of 12 and thus the $52 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but two lucky ticket holders , one from California and one from Wisconisn won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California won $241,411 with the second prize tciekt holder from Wisconsin winning $1 million.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $67 million ( $46.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 10th August 2016.
