News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $123 million ( $72.7 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 15th March 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 16-30-41-48-53 and the Powerball of 16 and thus the $123 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but two lucky ticket holders , one from Georgia and one from Iowa won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The second prize ticket holder from Georgia won $1 million with the second prize ticket holder from Iowa winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $141 million ( $83.3 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 18th March 2017.
