News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $127 million ( $87.8 million in cash ) was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot begins to build up after the recent jackpot win .
In the draw last night , Wednesday 24th August 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 09-11-25-64-65 and the Powerball of 16 and thus the $127 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but two lucky ticket holders , one from Kansas and one from New Jersey won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $142 million ( $98.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 27th August 2016.
