News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $100 million ( $62.5 million in cash ) was not won which means the jackpot will start to build up again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 26th April 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-15-18-26-51 and the Powerball of 26 and thus the annuitised $100 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but three ticket holders , one from California , one from Illinois and one from New York won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Illinois and New York won $1 million each with the second prize ticket holder from California winning $628,737.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rise to an estimated $113 million ( $70.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 29th April 2017.
