US Powerball Lottery Review – Wednesday 2nd August 2017

News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $261 million ( $162.4 million in cash ) was not won and has started to build up again to a significant amount worth of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.

In the draw last night , Wednesday 2nd August 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-16-54-63-69 and the Powerball of 18 and thus the annuitised $261 million jackpot was not  won.

No ticket holders won the first prize in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw but one lucky ticket holder from Massachusetts won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.

The second prize ticket holder from Massachusetts selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket and doubled their winnings from $1 million to $2 million ! ( Powerplay is always 2 at this prize level).

The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rise to an estimated $286 million ( $178 million in cash)  in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 5th August 2017.

Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the growing jackpot !
