News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night and thus the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent Megamillions Jackpot win.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 5th September 2025 were 06-14-36-58-62 with the number of the Megaball being 24. In Friday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the annuitised $336 million ( $151.3 million in cash ) jackpot was not won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will increase to an estimated $358 million ( $164.5 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Drawing which will be drawn on Tuesday 9th September 2025.
There were no first or second prize winners in Friday night’s Megamillions Draw with the first payout coming at the third prize level where seventeen ticket holders matched four main white balls and the gold Megaball in the Megamillions Draw..
Ten third prize ticket holders had the 2x multiplier and took home $20,000 each in prize money ,two third prize ticket holders had the 2x muiliplier and took home $68,204 each (from California) , three third prize ticket holders had the 3x multiplier and took home $30,000 each in prize money, one third prize ticket holder had the 5x multiplier and took home $50,000 in prize money and one third prize ticket holder had the 10x multiplier and took home $100,000 in prize money.
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has recently been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions drawing as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
