News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night and thus the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent Megamillions Jackpot win.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 8th August 2025 were 02-06-08-14-49 with the number of the Megaball being 12. In Friday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the annuitised $166 million ( $75.2 million in cash ) jackpot was not won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will increase to an estimated $182 million ( $82.1 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Drawing which will be drawn on Tuesday 12th August 2025.
There were no first prize winners in Friday night’s Megamillions Draw however one lucky ticket holder from California did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in Friday night’s draw and took home $4,607,223 in prize money as they had the 3x multiplier on their Megamillions entry ticket..
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has recently been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions drawing as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
