News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of an annuitised $1.2009 Billion ( $544.1 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely once again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention.
In the draw last night , Monday 1st September 2025 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 08-23-25-40-53 and the Powerball of 05 and thus the annuitised $1.2009 Billion jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $1.30 Billion ( $589 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 3rd September 2025.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however twelve ticket holders , one from California , one from Florida , one from Kentucky , one from Massachusetts , one from Michigan , one from Montana ( with Powerplay) , two from New Jersey , one from New York, one from North Carolina ( with Powerplay) ,one from Pennsylvania and one from Virginia did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball .
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
