News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of an annuitised $88.1 million ( $39.8 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up again following the recent mammoth Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 5th January 2026 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 04-18-24-51-56 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the annuitised $88.1 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $105 million ( $47.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 7th January 2026.
There were no first or second prize prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with the first payout coming at the third prize level where ten ticket holders ( three with the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket) matched four main white balls and the red Powerball in the Powerball Draw.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
