News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of an annuitised $55.2 million ( $25.4 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot will now start to build up once again following the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 5th May 2025 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 16-34-40-45-66 and the Powerball of 19 and thus the annuitised $55.2 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $65 million ( $29.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 7th May 2025.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket from Puerto Rico did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
