News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $715.8 million ( $323.1 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot is now starting to build up nicely once again.
In the draw last night , Saturday 23rd August 2025 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 11-14-34-47-51 and the Powerball of 18 and thus the annuitised $715.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $750 million ( $338.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 25th August 2025.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from Maine , one from New York and one from South Dakota did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Drawing.
The second prize ticket holders from Maine and New York took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from South Dakota taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
