News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $1.8168 Billion ( $834.9 million in cash) was won as one lucky ticket holder from Arkansas matched the five main white balls and the red Powerball in the Powerball Draw and scooped the Powerball Jackpot !!!!!
In the draw last night , Wednesday 24th December 2025 one ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 04-25-31-52-59 and the Powerball of 19 and thus the annuitised $1.8168 Billion jackpot was won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated annuitised $20 million ( $9.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 27th December 2025.
There was one first prize winner in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however eight ticket holders one from California , one from Indiana , one from Michigan , two from New York , one from Ohio , one from Pennsylvania and one from Virginia did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Indiana ,Michigan , New York , Ohio , Pennsylvania and Virginia took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from California taking home $2,811,275 in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
