News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $451.2 million ( $204.9 million in cash) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 6th August 2025 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 15-27-43-45-53 and the Powerball of 09 and thus the annuitised $451.2 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $482 million ( $218.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 9th August 2025.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however four ticket holders, one from California , one from New Jersey , one from New York and one from Ohio did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $702,747 in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from New Jersey , New York and Ohio taking home $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
