News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $104 million ( $47 million in cash) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot will now start to build up once again following the recent mammoth Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 7th January 2026 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 15-28-57-58-63 and the Powerball of 23 and thus the annuitised $104 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $124 million ( $56 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 10th January 2026.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket holder from Delaware did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
