The Megamillions Maintains Momentum !

Blog readers will be aware after this week’s blog post that the Powerball Jackpot has now been won after weeks of rollovers with a lucky ticket holder in San Mateo scooping the $228,467,735 Powerball jackpot in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw.

However whilst the Powerball game has been attracting attention the Lotto Central team have also noticed that our other favourite Lottery game from across the pond , the Megamillions game is also beginning to look interesting !

The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 26th September were 17-26-35-46-62 with the number of the Megaball being 05. In Friday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the $93 million jackpot was not won . This means that the Megamillions jackpot will rollover once again and as a result Tuesday night’s Megamillions jackpot is estimated at $105 million ($62.1 million in cash ).

In Friday night’s draw there were no ticket holders matching the five main balls and Megaball or even the five main balls on their own . The first winners were the 86 ticket holders who matched four main balls and the Megaball winning $5000 each.( Eight of the 86 winners were located in California which operates a different payment system – these ticket holders won $2,746 each ).

With such a large jackpot up for grabs the perplexing question for the Lotto Central team is whether to play the Megamillions game on a single ticket or as part of a Lottery Syndicate. There is of course any easy answer to this perplexing question – do both  !

So we are therefore off to our favourite international Lottery ticket provider , the Lotter to get on Tuesday night’s Megamillions draw with a single ticket – click here if you would like to do likewise !

For our syndicate entry we will head over to PlayLottery who offer chances to partake in Lottery Syndicates in major lotteries all over the world – click here if you would like to join us !
Good Luck everyone !
