News reaches Lotto Central HQ from our blog readers across the pond that once again the Powerball Jackpot was not won on Saturday night and thus will rollover to a seriously interesting estimated $317 million in the next Powerball Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 4th February 2015.
In the Powerball Draw on Saturday 31st January 2015 no ticket holders matched the five main numbers of 05-11-16-26-50 and the Powerball of 34 and thus Saturday night’s Powerball jackpot of $289 million was not won .
Eight lucky ticket holders did win the second prize on Wednesday night by matching the five main balls so clearly Lottery enthusiasts are getting really closer to that jackpot !
The second prize winning ticket holders in last night’s draw came from California , Florida (x2) , Kentucky (x2), New York , North Dakota and Wisconsin – the winner from California picked up $1,430,588 with the other winners winning $1 million each.
So with Wednesday night’s jackpot estimated at $317 million ( $220.6 million in cash) the Lotto Central team think that the Powerball draw certainly warrants serious consideration .
