News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was won last night as one lucky ticket holder from California matched the five main white balls and the gold Megaball in Friday’s Megamillions Draw and scooped the annuitised $421 million Megamillions Jackpot !!!
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 28th January 2022 were 03-16-25-44-55 with the number of the Megaball being 13. In Friday night’s draw one ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the annuitised $421 million ( $290.9 million in cash ) jackpot was won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $20 million ( $13.7 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Drawing which will be drawn on Tuesday 1st February 2022.
There was one first prize winner in Friday night’s Megamillions Draw however four lucky ticket holders , one from Mississippi , one from New York , one from Ohio and one from Texas also won a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Mississippi , New York and Texas took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Ohio taking home $3 million in prize money as they have selected the Megaplier option on their Megamillions entry ticket.
