News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night and therefore the Megamillions Jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worth of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Friday 31st December 2021 were 02-05-30-46-61 with the number of the Megaball being 08. In Friday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball and thus the annuitised $221 million ( $157.1 million in cash ) jackpot was not won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $244 million ( $172.5 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Tuesday 4th January 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Friday night’s Megamillions Draw however two lucky ticket holders , one from Michigan and one from North Carolina did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from North Carolina took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Texas taking home $3 million in prize money as they had selected the Megaplier option on their Megamillions entry ticket.
The Megaplier multiplier in last night’s Megamillions Draw was THREE.
