News reaches the Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was finally won last night as one lucky ticket holder from New Jersey matched the five main balls and the gold Megaball in the Megamillions Draw and scooped the annuitised $1.13 Billion ( $537.5 million in cash ) Megamillions Lottery Jackpot !!
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 26th March 2024 were 07-11-22-29-38 with the number of the Megaball being 04. In Tuesday night’s draw one ticket holder matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the $1.13 Billion ( $537.5 million in cash ) jackpot was finally won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $20 million ( $9.5 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 29th March 2024.
There was one first prize winner in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw however thirteen ticket holders ,one from California , one from Colorado ,two from Florida , two from Georgia , one from Illinois , one from Indiana , one from Michigan from New York and one from Ohio also won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Colorado, Florida , Georgia,Illinois,Indiana,Michigan ,Ohio and two of the New York ticket holders took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from California taking home $1,058,180 in prize money.One of the second prize winners from New York had selected the Megaplier option on their Megamillions entry ticket and thus took home $2 million in prize money.
The Megaplier multiplier in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw was TWO.
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has now been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions draw as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
