News reaches the Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that the Megamillions Lottery Jackpot was not won last night and thus the jackpot has now started to build up nicely to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
The Megamillions numbers drawn on Tuesday 5th March 2024 were 02-49-50-61-70 with the number of the Megaball being 14. In Tuesday night’s draw no ticket holders matched the five main numbers and Megaball thus the $650 million ( $314.4 million in cash ) jackpot was not won.
The Megamillions Jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $687 million ( $332.2 million in cash) in the next Megamillions Draw which will be drawn on Friday 8th March 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw however two ticket holders ,one from California and one from Michigan did win a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Megamillions Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $2,151,945 in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Michigan taking home $1 million in prize money.
The Megaplier multiplier in Tuesday night’s Megamillions Draw was TWO.
Although the Megamillions Jackpot has recently been won the Lotto Central team still recommend keeping a close eye on the Megamillions draw as past performance indicates that this jackpot grows rapidly after a few rollover draws .
