News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $29 million ( $23.5 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to build up again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 22nd August 2020 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 19-30-36-42-66 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the annuitised $29 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $37 million ( $29.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 26th August 2020.
It was a quiet night in Powerballville last night as in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw there were no first or second prize winners with the first payout coming at the third prize level where fourteen ticket holders ( three with the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket ) matched four main white balls and the red Powerball.
There were 417,713 winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $3,803,296 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
