News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $576.5 million ( $309.4 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 28th January 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 02-18-23-27-47 and the Powerball of 15 and thus the annuitised $576.5 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $613 million ( $329 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 30th January 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however four ticket holders , one from Missouri , one from New York , one from Pennsylvania and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Missouri , New York and Pennsylvania took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Texas taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout)
