News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $29 million ( $23.8 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot will start to build up again following last week’s Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 22nd April 2020 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-33-35-40-69 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the annuitised $29 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $37 million ( $30.3 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 25th April 2020.
There were no ticket holders winning the Powerball Jackpot in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders from Colorado did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the draw.
One second prize ticket holder from Colorado took home $1 million in prize money with the other second prize ticket holder from Colorado taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.( Powerplay multiplier is always a maximum of two at this level of prize payout)
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was FIVE.
