News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $80 million ( $57.3 million in cash ) was won as one lucky ticket holder from New York matched the five main white balls and the red Powerball and scooped the Powerball Jackpot !!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 4th September 2019 one lucky ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 04-08-30-52-59 and the Powerball of 02 and thus the annuitised $80 million jackpot was won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $40 million ( $28.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 7th September 2019.
There was one first prize winner in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw but also one lucky ticket from Virginia won a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million in prize money.
There were also seven third prize winners , two of whom had Powerplay option selected on their entry ticket and were no doubt very happy as with the Powerplay multiplier being TEN they subsequently took home $500,000 each in prize money !
