News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $922 million ( $476.5 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up again to a significant amount worth of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Monday 17th July 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 05-08-09-17-41 and the Powerball of 21 and thus the annuitised $922 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $1 Billion ( $516.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 19th July 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however eight ticket holders ,one from Arkansas, one from Connecticut, one from Florida , one from Georgia , one from Kentucky, one from New York , one from Pennsylvania and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Connecticut , Florida, Kentucky , New York and Pennsylvania took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Arkansas , Georgia and Texas taking home $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout)
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was FOUR.
There were 2,844,050 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $41,791,783 being paid out in winnings.
