News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $174.9 million ( $84.4 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely once again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 29th January 2024 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 39-41-43-49-64 and the Powerball of 04 and thus the annuitised $174.9 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $188 million ( $90.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 31st January 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from California , one from South Carolina and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from South Carolina and Texas took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from California taking home $647,970 in prize money.
There were 372,417 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $5,565,476 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
