News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $786.1 million ( $396.8 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent mammoth Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 30th December 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 10-11-26-27-34 and the Powerball of 07 and thus the annuitised $786.1 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $810 million ( $408.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 1st January 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however seven ticket holders ,one from Colorado , one from New York , one from Ohio , one from South Carolina , one from Tennessee , one from Texas and one from West Virginia did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Colorado , New York , Ohio ,South Carolina and Tennessee took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Texas and West Virginia taking home $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay mutliplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout)
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was FOUR.
