News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $37.7 million ( $18.7 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent mammoth Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 6th January 2024 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 04-31-34-38-61 and the Powerball of 13 and thus the annuitised $37.7 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $46 million ( $22.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 8th January 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders ,one from Arkansas and one from California did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Arkansas took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from California taking home $210,015 in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
