News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $511 million ( $250 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 9th March 2024 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 30-36-49-52-63 and the Powerball of 16 and thus the annuitised $511 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $532 million ( $260.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 11th March 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from Ohio , one from Florida and one from New York did win a second prize my matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Ohio took home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket ( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout) with the second prize ticket holders from Florida and New York taking home $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was FIVE.
