News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $34.2 million ( $16 million in cash) was not won and therefore the jackpot has now started to build up once again following the recent massive Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 10th April 2024 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-07-12-24-36 and the Powerball of 15 and thus the annuitised $34.2 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $46 million ( $21.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 13th April 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders , one from New York and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize winner from New York took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Texas taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
There were 388,269 winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $7,842,149 being paid out in prize money.
