News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $563.1 million ( $275.4 million in cash) was not won and therefore the jackpot has now started to build up nicely once again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 13th March 2024 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 21-29-54-59-62 and the Powerball of 04 and thus the annuitised $563.1 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $600 million ( $293.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 16th March 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Wednessday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from Georgia , one from New York and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from New York and Texas took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Georgia taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
There were 861,505 winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $9,685,854 being paid out in prize money.
