News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $240 million ( $118 million in cash) was not won and therefore has now started to build up once again following the recent mammoth Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 16th August 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 09-11-17-19-55 and the Powerball of 01 and thus the annuitised $240 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $264 million ( $129.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 19th August 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket holder from Massachusetts did win a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
