News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $101.5 million ( $50.2 million in cash) was not won and therefore the jackpot has now started to build up once again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 17th January 2024 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 18-22-43-61-65 and the Powerball of 02 and thus the annuitised $101.5 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $120 million ( $59.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 20th January 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket holder from Vermont did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout).
