News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $56.8 million ( $44.8 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot will now start to increase again following the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 2nd September 2020 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-04-11-20-69 and the Powerball of 18 and thus the annuitised $56.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $66 million ( $52 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 5th September 2020.
It was a quiet night in Powerballville last night as in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw there were no first or second prize winners with the first payout coming at the third prize level where thirteen ticket holders ( seven with the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket) matched four main white balls and the red Powerball.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
There were 418,468 prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $3,463,893 being paid out in prize money.
