News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $390.1 million ( $242.9 million in cash ) was not won and thus the jackpot has started to build to a significant amount worth of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 30th December 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 28-36-41-51-58 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the annuitised $390.1 million jackpot was not won.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball draw but four lucky ticket holders ,one from Iowa , one from New Hampshire , one from New Jersey and one from Oregon won a second prize by matching five main balls .
The second prize ticket holders from Iowa , New Hampshire and New Jersey won $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Oregon winning $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $440 million ( $278.3 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 3rd January 2018.
