News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $559.7 million ( $352 million in cash ) was won as one lucky ticket holder in New Hampshire matched the five main balls and the Powerball !.
In the draw last night , Saturday 6th January 2018 one lucky ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 12-29-30-33-61 and the Powerball of 26 and thus the annuitised $559.7 million jackpot was won.
There was one first prize winner in Saturday night’s Powerball draw but also seven lucky ticket holders ,one from Connecticut , two from New Jersey , one from South Carolina , two from Texas and one from Washington won a second prize by matching five main balls and took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will start off again at an estimated $40 million ( $25.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 10th January 2018.
