News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $222 million ( $150.4 million in cash ) was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot begins to build up to a significant amount after the recent jackpot win .
In the draw last night , Wednesday 14th September 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 10-11-23-28-31 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the $222 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but three lucky ticket holders , one from Indiana , one from Virginia and one from Washington,D.C. won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $244 million ( $165.3 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 17th September 2016.
With the Powerball jackpot now moving into a range above $200 million mark this lottery is certainly worth the attention of keen Lotto enthusiasts !
