News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $135 million ( $82.5 million in cash ) was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot begins to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 18th January 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 09-40-41-53-58 and the Powerball of 12 and thus the $135 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but one lucky ticket holder from Illinois won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $1 million in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $153 million ( $93.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 21st January 2017.
