News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $435.3 million ( $263.4 million in cash ) was won with one lucky ticket holder from Indiana scooping the Powerball jackpot !
In the draw last night , Wednesday 22nd February 2017 one ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 10-13-28-52-61 and the Powerball of 02 and thus the $435 million jackpot was won.
One ticket holder won the first prize last night but also seven lucky ticket holders , one from Kansas , two from Massachusetts , one from New Jersey ,two from New York and one from Texas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holder from New Jersey won $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket with all the other second prize ticket holders winning $1 million each.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $40 million ( $24.2million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 25th February 2017.
