News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $155 million ( $92.4 million in cash ) was won by one lucky ticket holder from Wisconsin !!
In the draw last night , Wednesday 22nd March 2017 the single lucky ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 02-09-27-29-42 and the Powerball of 09 and thus the annuitised $155 million jackpot was won.
One ticket holder won the first prize last night but two ticket holders , one from New York and one from South Carolina also won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $40 million ( $24 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 25th March 2017.
