News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that Wednesday night’s Powerball Jackpot of $294 million ( $177.6 million in cash ) was won as one lucky ticket holder from New York matched five main balls and the Powerball to scoop the Powerball Jackpot !!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 26th December 2018 one ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 05-25-38-52-67 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the annuitised $294 million jackpot was won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $40 million ( $24.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 29th December 2018.
There was one first prize winner in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw but also two lucky ticket holders , one from Illinois and one from Wisconsin won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
