News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $255 million ( $154.4 million in cash ) was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot begins to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 8th February 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 14-20-42-49-66 and the Powerball of 05 and thus the $255 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but three lucky ticket holders , one from California , one from Georgia and one from Pennsylvania won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California won $2,120,302 with the second prize ticket holders from Georgia and Pennsylvania winning $1 million each.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $285 million ( $172.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 11th February 2017.
